Wildlife Technician

July - August 2018 • Logan, UT

What I liked

It’s an easy job where you can hone in your interpersonal communication skills, and also put descilation skills into practice.

What I wish was different

Overall consistency between management and maybe a bit better hiring practices. Unfortunately it was a low paying, long hours job that takes very little skill, so they end up hiring a lot of high school kids. It is a catch 22 hiring high schoolers.

Advice

It’s a great job to get a foot in the door working for the state of Utah.
