What I liked

I really liked getting able to harbor relationships with customers to make the experience enjoyable for all that are involved. I also like getting to ask my boss where he gets his products from, why those products, how they are made, and being able to identify trends in what seem to be buying more of and less of.

What I wish was different

I wish I was making enough to be able to support myself better and not have to ask as much from my parents.

Advice

One piece of advice about my experience has to do with working in the Westfield Mall and having tourists as well as people without homes stop in. It is important to always be kind and patient to those are coming from a different country, speak a different language, and are accustomed to different customs. It is also important to put yourself in the shoes of those who are homeless because that could just as easily be you. Being empathetic towards all people who enter the store is my biggest piece of advice.
