I loved everyone I worked with and it was a really friendly environment. I got to see how a winery was actually run and all the bells and whistles. I liked how I was able to move around in many different departments and see all sides of the business.
What I wish was different
I wish I turned 21 a little bit sooner so I could have had a bit more time on the wine side of things but all in all I believe i learned a lot and would definitely recommend V. Sattui to a peer.
Advice
I would say speak up for what you want because that is what I did and it ended up working out because I was the first intern they had ever taken on and I had to make sure I was getting out what I needed to get out of it. You're not just working there for fun you're working to learn and I was able to do that.
