I absolutely cherished my time volunteering at the hospital. One of the things I liked most was the profound sense of purpose it gave me. Knowing that every day, I had the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life, even in a small way, was incredibly fulfilling. I also appreciated the chance to learn and grow. Every day was a new experience, and I got to witness the dedication and expertise of the hospital staff. From the skilled doctors and nurses to the compassionate support staff, I was constantly inspired by their commitment to patient care.
What I wish was different
During my time volunteering at the hospital, I found immense fulfillment in making a positive impact on patients' lives and relished the sense of purpose it provided. Nevertheless, I wished for more flexible scheduling options to enable greater participation, additional opportunities for ongoing training and skill development, and a bit more recognition and appreciation for the volunteers' efforts. Improved communication between volunteers and hospital staff would have enhanced the overall experience, and a broader range of tasks could have offered a more diversified experience. Despite these areas for improvement, my hospital volunteering experience remains a cherished chapter in my life, deepening my passion for helping others and fostering meaningful relationships within the healthcare community.
Advice
One valuable piece of advice I would share about volunteering at a hospital is to embrace every opportunity to learn and grow. The hospital environment offers a unique chance to witness healthcare professionals in action, engage with patients from diverse backgrounds, and gain insights into the medical field. Take the initiative to ask questions, seek out additional training, and absorb as much knowledge as you can. By actively learning and expanding your skill set during your volunteer experience, you not only contribute more effectively to the hospital's mission but also enrich your own personal and professional development.

I really like the atmosphere and how friendly everyone is. I also like how flexible they are. If there i ever need to change my schedule they are very open about it. They even allow me to go to different departments and observe the work there.
What I wish was different
I like it and don’t find anything in particular that should be different.
