I was teaching chemistry, algebra, trigonometry, economics, and geometry, so I felt I was actually very engaged in a variety of work over the summer. I also knew that I was actively impacting the lives of the kids I was tutoring and teaching, because that material will be foundational in their remaining years in high school.
