What I liked

My most favorite part of this job was learning about everything related to taking care of a home, like the right soil to use with each specific plant or what type of screws are needed for specific projects. In addition, I felt really excited and confident every day at work because of good training and positive personalities all around. Also if you work extra hard, you may be chosen for Employee of the Month or Year in which special bonuses are awarded, which I think is nice because it's important that hard work is recognized in my opinion.

What I wish was different

I wish that I had gotten to work more hours over the time I had been there. For as hard as I worked, I definitely could've used the extra money, but they always seemed to have to cut hours while making the schedule each week.

Advice

Best advice is to have an open mind about being a cashier, as that is where you are most likely to start out. Don't get discouraged if you have a hard time with cutting glass or keys precisely. Customers and clientele will be rude and disrespectful everywhere, so the grass is not necessarily greener at another job.
