What I liked

I have previously worked with the same store during the summer of 2017 and they have always been the most kind and dedicated workers. They truly define what teamwork means to in a work place.

What I wish was different

There really isn't anything that I wished had been different. Possibly more time getting familiar with products, but that is mostly because I was there for only a short time.

Advice

The most challenging aspect of the job will be working with customers who are being difficult. Rely on your staff members for help and support.

What I liked

What I liked most of Vans are between two major aspects of the company. One, the pride Vans takes in sustainability and ethical production of their products. Two, I loved the Vans culture filled with diversity among all ranges of people. The Vans culture emphasized they are not one thing, and neither are the people.

What I wish was different

What I wish had been different was how little time I was employed by Vans. I wish I could have transferred stores when I came back to school.

Advice

One piece of advice I’d give is to be versatile, and work diligently hard but also smart. Work in ways that gets the job done in the time you’re on the clock, this helps a lot by having a game plan.
