I liked the topic I worked on, which was Syrian migrants during the early 1990s and how they were working to get exit visas.
What I wish was different
My work was remote, but I wish I could have done more in-person work with the professor.
Advice
When doing research, try to find a professor who works on something you're interested in, rather than just doing any position to add it to your resume. You'll have a lot more fun and learn more if you choose something you're interested in.
