Vertue

Host

What I liked

I like the flexibility the company offers. Being able to work remotely is definitely a great feature the host position provides. Having little experience prior to being a host, the company provided training to help me prepare for the role.

What I wish was different

Something that I wish had been different is having a more steady schedule.

Advice

Don't be afraid to ask questions when you are confused, everyone is very helpful and they motivate you to succeed.

What I liked

I love how personal Vertue is in terms of working with people around the United States from a computer. It is the best way to reach your personal goals while being in the comfort of your own home. The team environment is amazing. Everyone is always prepared and ready to help each other at the drop of a hat. The Host Managers are the best. They go out of their way to make the Vertue experience, the best experience for the clients as well as the Hosts. Schedules are flexible which makes this the perfect job for a college student like myself. Vertue itself is one of the greatest company's that I have ever worked for.

Advice

One piece of advice that I would like to share is that this job is fast paced and constantly changing from client to client. You must be able to adapt your training style to your client and their goals.

What I liked

I loved the team I worked with. Everyone was very welcoming, down-to-earth, adaptable, and super understanding. The flexibility I was given for my schedule was such a weight off my shoulders, as I was also a full-time student. Thanks to Vertue, I was able to gain extra income and stay focused on my studies at the same time. I also got to learn a lot about health and fitness and gained healthy confidence in working with new people.

What I wish was different

There was honestly nothing I would say that I wish could have changed to make the experience better.

Advice

One piece of advice I would share about this experience is to not be afraid to do your job. Always try to correct form, build relationships and be the safe space for someone to be able to improve and reach their goals, even if it is only for 30 minutes or an hour.
