What I liked

Viacom and CMT provide interns with a number of opportunities to not only learn within their respective departments, but also in a number of other areas. As a result, interns leave with a comprehensive understanding of the media industry.

What I wish was different

I wish that I would have met more directly with my superiors in order to express my interests and concerns. I think we all would have had a better understanding about how we could help each other.

Advice

Bring your whole self to your internship and really get to know all the people around you, even those not in your department. Your relationships here could lead you to areas you never knew you were interested in.
