The Village of Mount Pleasant is geographically one of the largest and most populated villages in Wisconsin, covering nearly 36 square miles with a population of approximately 27,000. Stretching from Lake Michigan to I-94, Mount Pleasant is 20 miles south of Milwaukee and 60 miles north of Chicago.

The Village is poised for rapid growth as Foxconn moves forward with its plans to build a $10 billion campus that is expected to create 13,000 jobs over the next few years. Construction of the first production plant is slated for spring of 2019. Plans are also underway by Advocate Aurora Health to construct a new hospital and medical office building in Mount Pleasant; completion is planned for 2022.

Mount Pleasant offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities from nearby golf courses and the Pike River Pathway to miles of bike lanes and over 400 acres of Village parkland. Lake Michigan’s coastline also offers water recreation via the nearby marinas and boat launches
