The chance to get hands-on experience in a company that fosters a supportive environment. I leaned more in this role because of the support of the team I worked with.

What I wish was different

The duration, I am so used to this work now I don’t want to stop.

Advice

Put yourself out there and give it a shot. I did not think I was going to get this internship but I applied and it turned out well. Ask lots of questions too, you are there to learn.

What I liked

Working at VACU was a great experience, the work atmosphere was chill, every one I came across there was always willing to help and offer advice, which was great. My mentor who I was assigned to was also great in terms of assigning work to be done, and explaining things when I needed it.
