The 2017 Virginia General Assembly Session is fast approaching and we are looking for a student that is interested in the workings of state government. Our office represents the 81st House of Delegates District, which includes large portions of both Chesapeake and Virginia Beach. The 81st District encompasses the tourist industry, large suburban residential neighborhoods, and most of the agricultural areas of Virginia Beach and Chesapeake. Delegate Knight is the most senior Delegate to the Virginia Beach Delegation. He sits on: House Appropriations Committee; House General Laws; House House Rules; and House Agriculture and Natural Resources. He is also the chairman of three subcommittees: Subcommittee on Agriculture; Subcommittee on ABC; and Subcommittee on Studies.
