I liked the fact that my project was very applicable to the business. I got to work directly with my team to develop an application for the warehouse team. Then, I was able to see it in progress at the end of the summer.
What I wish was different
I wish it had been more in-person (I went in about once every other week). This would've been nice because I could've gotten to know my coworkers better. Also, it was hard to get help from other employees when I had never seen them before.
Advice
Ask for help early and often; other employees have their own tasks, but you should reach out to them well in advance so you can get the help you need on time.

Sales Operations Intern
June - August 2020 • San Jose, CA
What I liked
I was able to connect with a majority of the executive team, my peers, and amazing mentors. I got to work on a variety of data analysis projects, practicing how to interpret and present my findings. Additionally, I had the opportunity to work with multiple different teams and gain perspective on how the business is run as a whole.
What I wish was different
I wish that the experience did not have to be virtual so that I could have worked more hours and connected with my mentors and peers in person.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share about this experience is to be curious and a self-starter. You should be willing to take initiative with new projects and express interest where you find it in order to make the most of the internship.
