Honestly, during my time there I never really found anything that I didn't like. The culture at Vox is one of support, compassion and constant curiosity, the beauty of this is that it spills over into every aspect of the company. The team I worked with constantly sought to help me not only with my projects but with any trouble I had outside of work too.
What I wish was different
I only wish I'd had more time at Vox, I don't think there is anything I would change.
Advice
Take every chance you can to learn. The engineers I worked with were so bright and so willing to share, this is an amazing opportunity to be in a programming environment that was more about team work than competition. That is something that you don't always get so you really really have to take advantage of it.

The remote culture of the product team - it wasn't something I had experience with in other work environments

Make the most out of programmed intern events and build your network! The company is very young and is an advocate for your success
