I liked to have learned the importance of marketing in construction. When you hear all the noise and see the blocked of sidewalks you think of inconveniences. You don't normally think of all the hard work that goes into figuring out how such a project can be pulled off and it starts with the marketing team.
What I wish was different
Nothing.
Advice
Ask questions. Don't be afraid to sound dumb. As an intern you kind of are dumb! You don't know anything! But the best part is, no one expects you to know anything. They just expect you to be eager to learn.
