Electrical Engineering Intern

May - July 2018 • Sand Springs, OK

What I liked

Best place I have ever worked, and I’ve worked many different places. I was treated with respect by every single person I met there, I would highly recommend this employer.

What I wish was different

At times there wasn’t any assigned job for me to do, and I just had to come up with ways to be useful. They told me at the end of my internship that they will be seeking to improve this in the future.

Advice

Resumes are nice, and job applications are fine, but face to face interaction with employers always wins. Go to career fairs, meet companies you aren’t very familiar with, put yourself out there, and get uncomfortable. You may just find the best first career job you could hope for.

Mechanical Engineering Intern

May - July 2018 • Tulsa, OK

What I liked

They put much trust in the work of heir interns

What I wish was different

I wish i could have attend more meeting even though they would be over my head and not applicable to my projects, just to get a feel for the life of an engineer

Advice

Try to do as little desk work as possible. It is hard to leave your comfortable space but talking to people is very beneficial.
