What I liked

Seeing the cannabis industry as a legitimate operation was astonishing. Since the mid-'90s, I knew cannabis would be the next big thing. Being a part of that was absolutely amazing, and an experience I never expected. I learned so much and had a wonderful time.

What I wish was different

Not much, actually. The pace was nice, my supervisors were the best employers I've had in my 25-year work experience.

Advice

I got this internship from going on a field trip with the Food Science Club. Just take any opportunity you see around you, I'm glad I did. You never know who your next contact, friend, mentor, or boss may be, so treat everyone that way. And look for the opportunities around you in everyday life.
