About West Michigan Sports Commission

The West Michigan Sports Commission is a nonprofit organization based in Grand Rapids that promotes Michigan’s west coast as the premier venue for hosting a diverse level of youth and amateur sporting events, enhancing the economy and quality of life in the region. The State Games of Michigan is a marquee event of the West Michigan Sports Commission that promotes sportsmanship and a healthy lifestyle. The West Michigan Sports Complex, a tournament ready baseball/softball complex located in Rockford Michigan, is owned and operated by the West Michigan Sports Commission and meets our mission of promoting West Michigan as a premier sports destination.
