About Western Oregon University

The Western Oregon University Tree Advisory Committee (WOUTAC) is comprised of representatives of WOU’s staff (including grounds), faculty, students, and the local community. While the Grounds Office maintains responsibility and authority for all campus trees, the committee provides support, advice, and vision, in the best interest of the University, regarding the campus urban forest. The committee meets regularly to conduct business and maintain a dialog regarding proposed changes to the arboreal landscape and environment of WOU’s campus.
