I enjoyed mostly everything about this internship because it was the first time I had a legitimate job in the industry that I’ve always wanted to be in. I got hands on experience with designing and examining shoe samples and also seeing the process in which the shoes are sold to consumers.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have been more involved with the design process but I am grateful for everything they showed me.
Advice
My one piece of advice is to always be confident in yourself and your knowledge and do not be afraid to put yourself out there and make your voice be known. People will notice that you are making the effort and it will show that you want to learn and succeed.
