Physics Research Assistant

May - August 2018 • Whittier, CA

What I liked

There was a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I was still able to take vacations or days off if necessary. The research I did was mostly based off of my interests.

What I wish was different

I wish my advisor had made the research more structured so I had a clearer understanding of the long-term goal. They would change what they wanted me to do each time which limited my progress, but I did learn about a lot of different things.

Advice

Have time to work on one long-term goal, as well as your daily goals.
