Wilbur-Ellis

Sales Agronomist

May - August 2019 • Beresford, SD

What I liked

My supervisors and co-workers were very knowledgeable, flexible, and easy to work with. They made sure that my learning and interests were at the forefront of the internship experience. All interns are required to present an internship project which allows you to look further in to a specific area of interest. I also got to talk to farmers and sell them products which is something that not all Ag internships offer.

What I wish was different

I truly don't wish that anything had been different. I had a great experience due to a great company and supervisors.

Advice

Take your intern project seriously and work hard on it. I was offered a couple full time positions with Wilbur-Ellis because of my work ethic throughout the summer and dedication to my project. Based on the intern project and your summer work, you will receive a scholarship. The better you do, the higher the scholarship award.
