Neuroscience Research

May - August 2019 • Dayton, OH

What I liked

I enjoyed that it was a very hands on experience and I was given a lot of freedom and responsibility.

What I wish was different

Unfortunately, since I was only working in the lab during the summer there were many things I didn’t get to learn because they are much longer processes and take a long term commitment.

Advice

Working in a lab is a really great way to see if you would be interested in doing research a career! It is a valuable experience even if you don’t enjoy it, because it can still help narrow down your interests.

Marketing Intern

January - June 2018 • Fairborn, OH

What I liked

I enjoyed the hands on work when it came to actually designing different marketing schedules and materials.

What I wish was different

I wish it could have been a paid internship. Plus I wish the marketing budget would’ve been larger or at least existent.

Advice

If you’re looking for money, don’t work this internship. If you’re looking for solid experience where you work with a great supervisor, this internship is for you.
