The people I worked with were both dedicated workers and cared deeply for their community. They allowed me to work on vital projects that were important both to the organization and to the area itself. I got to experience many different aspects of their work including research, meetings, public events, and communications.

Advice
I would advise those joining an internship such as this to understand your strengths and weaknesses and consider them during your internship. If you believe you are strong in a certain area, ask for projects that deal with it so that you are able to display your competence to your peers and better understand your abilities. However, it is also important to seek work in areas where you are weaker and ask for help in doing them in order to make you a more well-rounded employee.
