I loved learning about different aspects of the clinical setting. I was in the Walk-In clinic so I got some experience registering patients, observing x-rays, interacting with patients, learning about insurances and co-pays, etc.
What I wish was different
I would have loved to have spent more time in the rooms with the patient, but I understand why this may not have been allowed.
Advice
I would love to have had more responsibilities so I could expand my learning experience.

Physical Therapist Aide
June - August 2018 • York, ME
What I liked
I was able to learn a lot about the world as a Physical Therapist and what they do day-to-day and the paperwork required to fill out. I also learned about tests that are given initially as well as tests given to check in on their patients' progress.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to do things more hands on. I wasn't able to, however, because I didn't have the required licensure (which makes complete sense).
Advice
Do as much as possible with internships like this. It'll really show you if you want to actually pursue this as a career.
