YWCA Brooklyn is the oldest nonprofit organization serving women and girls in Brooklyn. Its initiatives include a college access and leadership program for young women; a residential program serving over 300 low-income and formerly homeless survivors of domestic violence; education and legal assistance for immigrant women; health and wellness programs for trauma survivors; economic empowerment programs; and a Social Justice Community Center serving over 100 nonprofit and civic organizations.
