Being able to learn business in a gradual way. Moving up from administrative work, to marketing clerk when there had previously not been a marketing department helped me learn at my own pace and apply real time.
What I wish was different
The industry. I am grateful for my time at this company but it is not an industry that has a lot of social media marketing, which is something I am very interested in.
Advice
Application in real life isn't as daunting as it feels. Having a supportive office environment will help you apply the skills you learned in college and get better.
