Credentialing Analysis Summer Associate

What I liked

I thoroughly enjoyed having the time to work firsthand along side a team of professionals and gaining exposure to intercommunication between various departments working towards a final and coherent goal. I also very much so enjoyed exploring an industry that I previously was unaware of its existence, that without, would make many doctors, nurses, as well as healthcare practitioners’ jobs a lot harder.

What I wish was different

I would have appreciated more structured projects outside of my and my teams primary task. Projects that’s would have given myself and my team a better idea of the ins and outs of the business model that was being newly implemented.

Advice

When taking on a large task be sure to properly observe and consider all options that could enhance the efficiency of the task.

What I liked

This internship experience couldn't have been any better. AMN Healthcare's Summer Associate Program encourages you to do what you love & start your future career now. We were exposed to a 40 hour work week, with several growth opportunities such as weekly workshops to work on resume building, interview practice, StrengthsFinder training, and more. AMN Healthcare has a heart for their local community and even had the opportunity to do a service trip at a local food bank, one night after the work day. Being an intern in Learning & Talent Development allowed me to help execute a project, both that I was passionate about and that my department needed assistance with. I went into the opportunity fearless because I knew I had a team who would support me every step of the way. AMN Healthcare's company culture is something special.

What I wish was different

Advice

If you put your all into working as a Summer Associate at AMN Healthcare, the sky is truly the limit. I went in with this exact mindset, and I left motivated & excited for my future career, and a full time job offer for post graduation! AMN Healthcare is truly an amazing work environment, I cannot say enough great things about this company and about this summer internship program.
