“I loved the opportunity to talk with politicians on the current low-income housing crisis. In addition, I was able to write articles on what different state organizations are doing to aid low-income housing residents. I sat in on meetings with the staffers of Senators and Representatives.”

I learned about what it was like to work for a nonprofit, and specifically how the legislative system works. I also simply learned what it was like to work in an office, in a 9-to-5 job.”
