What I wish was different
I wish I could have been part of a bigger project but I was only there for the summer so I understand why I wasn't put on a huge project.
Advice
Seagrave is a good place to check out, it's a really nice work environment and if it's something you like doing it could be a great fit.

Manufacturing Engineering Intern
June - August 2019 • Clintonville, WI
What I liked
I was given a lot of freedom as to what projects I got to work on. I worked closely with all of the supervisors and got to make a lot of new relationships with coworkers. It was a vey team-oriented atmosphere and collaborative thinking was used to solve problems. This role provided me with real world experience for the material I have been learning in my classes and has shown me many useful ways to put the knowledge I have gained from classes into something real.

Advice
Don't be afraid to try something you don't know anything about. When working at an internship or co-op, never be afraid to talk to your supervisor/manager about doing something different if you don't like what you are doing.

Mechanical Engineering Intern
May - August 2019 • Clintonville, WI
What I liked
I enjoyed the amount of freedom I had with design. I was often given a part that needed to be made and then left to make it how I see fit. There was little busy work, and even if things weren't always exciting I was always doing something any engineer would have to do.
What I wish was different
Given my previous co-op at Seagrave I would have like to see an increase in wage, but I was happy with my experience overall.
Advice
Being familiar with a company's structure is very helpful in getting bigger and more exciting projects
