“I got a good understanding of how social programs worked. Everyone I worked with was very accommodating and willing to help me learn. There is a lot more to learn about the inner workings of government. I started to learn about the intricacies of government and how complicated of a system we have set up. There were also a couple of networking opportunities outside of work which all the interns attended along with our bosses.”
