I loved the people who I worked with. They were all so great and welcoming. I also loved the city. There were so many outdoor things to do in Tahoe. I also loved that they provided housing right on the lake.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have been paid a little more.
Advice
This is an awesome experience and I couldn’t be more happy with my time in Tahoe. I would heavily recommend having a car because there are so many great things to do in the area and a car makes it a little easier to get around.

What I liked
I loved that it was an internship where i had my housing paid for, and had a flexible schedule that allowed me to be comfortable with my hours. I'm also glad i had a good boss who would work with me on making sure i completed my requirements for my credits
What I wish was different
i wish there had been more science work to do because my major is parks and natural resources
Advice
Its great for starting a career in parks and community recreation, make sure to try everything and anything they offer just to get a chance to learn it all.
