Marketing Analyst Intern

June - August 2018 • Boston, MA

What I liked

I enjoyed working at a large organization. They treated the interns so well in that the executives wanted the interns to truly learn during their experience at the Bank. I liked being exposed to the financial industry as well.

What I wish was different

More short-term projects. I had two program long projects and I wish I had been given more daily, day-to-day tasks.

Advice

NETWORK! The most important part of an internship is networking. Build your connections while you're in the internship because you will not be able to access their information once you are gone.

Quantitative Analyst Intern

June - August 2018 • Charlotte, NC

What I liked

The organization did well in making us feel like we were a valuable part of the organization. We had a series of meetings with top executives where they would tell us about the type of work they did and their career experiences which was really nice as I got to learn more about the company outside my own role and team.

What I wish was different

I wish I had taken up more work for myself.

Advice

Try and network as much as you can with different people in the org to get a better sense of what roles you might want to try out and to just build your connection.
